Terms of Service

1. The service
ivi extracts financial figures from fund documents you upload (capital account statements, fund reports, capital call notices), verifies them against the documents' own arithmetic, and maintains your portfolio view. Every figure is either mathematically verified or explicitly flagged as held for review — held figures are shown with the reason they could not be verified.
2. Your account and your data
You retain all rights to the documents you upload and the figures extracted from them. You warrant that you are entitled to upload the documents you submit. We process them solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may export your data and terminate at any time; pilot subscriptions include a 90-day exit right from first payment.
3. What we do not promise
ivi is a decision-support tool, not an accounting, audit, tax, or investment advisory service. Verified figures reflect what your fund documents state — not an opinion on their correctness. You remain responsible for reviewing flagged items and for any decision made on the basis of the figures. The service is provided on a pilot basis; we target high availability but do not yet offer a contractual SLA.
4. Fees
Fees follow the published pricing — tiered by the number of fund positions in your portfolio, billed via Stripe. Price changes never apply retroactively to a running subscription period.
5. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, and for simple negligence to the breach of essential contractual duties, capped at the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
6. Termination and changes
Either party may terminate at the end of a billing period. We may amend these terms with 30 days' notice; if you object, you may terminate before the change takes effect. German law applies; place of jurisdiction is the operator's seat (see Imprint), mandatory consumer protections unaffected.
